In 2024, the Uganda Conservation Foundation (UCF) navigated a year of transition and transformation—strengthening partnerships, growing revenues, and advancing conservation impact across Uganda. Working closely with the Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA), UCF supported the agency through a major structural change and leadership transition while continuing to empower young Ugandan professionals on the frontlines of conservation.
From rebuilding ranger infrastructure and expanding digital operations through EarthRanger, to advancing community-led projects in Murchison Falls and Karamoja, UCF’s efforts continue to link conservation with opportunity. The organisation’s strong governance, partner trust, and results-oriented approach remain central to its success.
As UCF approaches its 25th anniversary, we stand renewed, driven by a new generation of Ugandans committed to protecting wildlife and ecosystems for generations to come.
