Uganda Conservation Foundation (UCF) has allocated funds from the EU-funded project titled “Supporting New and Existing Community Conservancies and the Adjacent Parks and Forests in the Kidepo-Turkana Landscape of Uganda and Kenya,” for the following works and supplies:
- Supply and installation of a Digital Radio Communication System and supporting infrastructure for Kidepo Valley National Park (Ref. No. RFP-UCF-EUNAF-SPPLS-26-006)
This three-year project is funded by the EU’s NaturAfrica programme for biodiversity and livelihoods in Africa, which was launched in 2021 to support large-scale, inter-regional conservation approaches focussed on the Key Landscapes for Conservation and Development (KLCD.)
The project focusses on the Karamoja and Turkana transboundary meta-landscape, and is implemented by a Consortium comprising Northern Rangelands Trust, Uganda Conservation Foundation, Uganda Wildlife Authority, National Forest Authority and the Kenya Wildlife Research & Training Institute.
