It’s been an amazing few months with the Wildlife Ranger Challenge 2025! Rangers went through a series of mini-challenges to prepare for the main event on 20th September, and Uganda’s hub event at Murchison Falls National Park was the biggest and most competitive we’ve hosted yet. Teams ran a synchronized 21km race alongside participants in 24 African countries, carrying 22kg backpacks. The rangers had trained hard and pushed themselves to beat their record best times!



As we wrap up this year’s WRC, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made the event a success: the Uganda Wildlife Authority, both rangers and management, our partners and team sponsors, dignitaries and invited guests, and the entire UCF staff.
