We’re delighted to announce that our organization has been recognized as a key contributor to the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition coming to Kampala this week. Developed by London’s Natural History Museum, this internationally acclaimed exhibition features award-winning nature photography alongside images from Ugandan photographers, capturing Uganda’s mountain gorillas, shoebills, and diverse ecosystems that underpin the country’s £1.88 billion tourism economy.
The exhibition represents a powerful celebration of Uganda’s extraordinary natural heritage and the conservation achievements that continue to protect it for future generations.
Our work stands alongside contributions from the Uganda Wildlife Authority, Uganda Tourism Board, and talented Ugandan photographers in this landmark event. The exhibition underscores how Uganda’s biodiversity serves as both a global treasure and a vital economic asset, supporting the country’s development objectives while creating jobs and building climate resilience.
We’re proud to be part of this collaborative effort that demonstrates how nature protection and economic development go hand in hand, inspiring visitors to value and protect the remarkable wildlife and ecosystems that make Uganda truly unique.
